Stroll with Jenny through the Land Trust gardens and grounds, and let’s talk plants! Jenny Shackelford is a lifelong native of these foothills and has always had a deep appreciation for the gifts it provides for us. Take a walk with her and learn about the local wild medicine growing at your feet. Jenny will discuss identification, ethical foraging practices, medicinal benefits and practical application of local wild foragables as well as providing recipes for making herbal remedies for yourself at home. Jenny’s walk/talk will be back on the last Sunday every month, for a fee of $10-$20 on a sliding scale (25% to LCCLT).
