In 2023, Genella was initiated into the Himalayan Siddha Master lineage, taking vows and receiving blessings as a disciple of Yogmata Keiko Aikawa, “The Mother of Yoga”, the first female and non-Indian Himalayan Great Saint, considered a “Living Buddha”. A Siddha Master is a Himalayan Great Saint that has achieved ultimate supreme Samadhi. It is an extremely rare opportunity to meet a Himalayan Siddha Master. In 2023, Genella was also blessed to receive Avalokiteshvara Empowerment, the Buddha of Compassion by H.E. Khen Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Samtem, Abbot of Drepung Loseling Monestary, India. Genella has studied Medical Qigong (Energetic Medicine) and Daoist mysticism under Zenovia Hwang, Lac, FAMP, DMQ, DTCM (China), Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and ordained Daoist monk. Genella has also studied energetic medicine extensively under internationally renowned author, healer and intuitive, Cyndi Dale. Recently she began further developing her mediumship skills under James Van Praagh. In addition, Genella is a Master level practitioner of Usui reiki, Karuna Ki reiki and Quantum reiki.
