Drumming at the Land Trust

Drummers have been gathering at the Lake Claire Community Land Trust twice a month for over fifteen years. The land trust offers an idyllic setting for this event. Once you enter the wood chip covered paths leading into the land trust, you begin to forget that you are in the city. The drumming lures you to the fire pit and you are transformed by the magic.

Twice a month on the first and third Saturdays, the Land Trust hosts a drum circle. The drumming begins at dark-thirty and ends at promptly at midnight. Donations are gratefully accepted. The proceeds from the gate provide about 80% of our monthly income to pay taxes, insurance and maintainence for the land trust. Please be considerate of neighbors if you drive to the drum circle. Drive slowly and be careful not to block drives when parking. No drugs or alcohol are allowed at the drum circle. We have started a discussion group for those interested in the drum circle. You can join it at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LandTrustDrumCircle
