All Together Now Family Fun Enrichment Series #2

(suggested donation $5)

The All Together Now Family Fun Enrichment Series presents a “Faerie & Green Man Celebration,” a celebration of our home, the Earth, and the magical protecting spirits within all of us that care for nature. Join the very faerie Miss Ladybug and her amazing artist friend, Ms. Pam Beagle Daresta, for an enchanting afternoon of art and creation with the Green Man and Faerie Spirits of the Land Trust. Enjoy light live music and Faerie & Green Man tea while we create. Bring your own cups.

Pam Beagle Daresta teaches at the Carlos Museum, the John C. Campbell Folk School, and the City of Decatur’s Special Interest Camps. She weaves myth and fine art, sharing skills and deep thoughts about our natural world. She will be collaborating with families to create beautiful Green Man and Nature Sprite images with large, intricately cut, one-of-a-kind stamps using special inks, and found nature objects. Paper will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your special supplies.

Miss Ladybug teaches at the SoulShine School and provides programs and entertainment throughout Metro Atlanta. She specializes in whimsical characters, birthday entertainment, and environmental education. She will be dressed up as a faerie and encourages all participants to join the fun by dressing up with flowers, leaves, or whatever you fancy. She will be leading a faerie craft project using paints, unique faerie forms, and leaves around the Land Trust.

We would love to take photos of the art work made with Ms. Pam and Miss Ladybug on May 17 to create an art show display on the Land Trust bulletin board. Come out to play and let’s enchant the Land Trust with family fun energy!

The All Together Now series is brought to you by LadybugEventsLLC.com in collaboration with the LCCLT Family Project. Each program is donation-based and supports local artists and educators. Coming up in July: a family herbal remedy class. To volunteer and help with more fun events, contact Andrea.Zoppo@yahoo.com.

(BY THE WAY . . . Miss Ladybug is also available for garden or fairy-themed birthday parties for children at the Land Trust. Inquire at missladybugeventsllc.com.)
