Veteran naturalist Al Tate has worked for over 30 years as an ecologist. He has also demonstrated his dedication to teaching in many ways, including his work through the Fernbank Science Center.
In this program sponsored by The Land Trust Family Project, Al gathers children together with their parents to learn about animals, plants and natural communities they find around their own home and neighborhood. The program is designed to allow the natural curiosity of the children be the starting point to learn about the ecological wonders around them.
Join him and your neighbors on a guided nature walk this summer. If you are interested in participating, we ask you to sign up ahead of time, as space is limited.

List the names and ages of the people attending, and add your telephone number in the comments area so that we may contact you in case of any last-minute changes.
We are asking for a small fee of $2.00 per child (accompanying adults are free) to cover project preparation expenses. Payment can be made on the day of the event. Meet up at the sandlot in the Land Trust playground.
